• Saddler’s Needles used in saddle stitching, this technique uses two needles working in opposite directions to create strong, balanced seams.

• Pricking Irons used to mark even, angled holes before stitching, ensuring precise spacing.

• Awl(custom-made) sharp and tapered, used to manually pierce leather or enlarge marked holes.

• Stitching Pony(custom-made) a wooden clamp that holds the leather in place, freeing both hands for even stitching. 

• Skiving Knife(custom-made) used to thin leather edges for folding or layering without bulk.

• Wooden Edge Burnisher(custom-made) a smooth wooden tool used to rub the edges of leather, creating a polished, rounded finish. Friction from the burnisher compresses the fibers and gives the edge a natural shine.

• Buffalo Horn Mallet(custom-made) a traditional mallet made from solid buffalo horn, known for its dense yet slightly soft composition. This unique material allows leather artisans to strike pricking irons with precision and minimal rebound. It is also used to gently hammer down stitches after sewing, helping to flatten the thread and ensure a clean, finished look.

• Edge Beveler an edge beveler is a handheld tool used to trim and round off the sharp corners along the edges of leather pieces. By shaving off a small amount of the edge, it creates a smoother, more refined finish, which not only enhances the appearance but also improves the comfort and longevity of the item.

• Leather Roller a leather roller is used to flatten, smooth, and set glued leather pieces or seams. It ensures proper adhesion and removes air bubbles between layers, creating a clean, professional finish. This tool is especially helpful in achieving even surfaces and reinforcing bonded areas in hand-stitched leatherwork.

• Rougher a rougher is a hand tool used to scrape or score the surface of leather before gluing. By creating texture on the leather’s surface, it allows adhesives to bond more effectively, ensuring durability and strength in the finished product. This step is especially important for high-stress areas like seams and joints.

• Leather Clamp / Leather Pliers leather clamps or pliers are tools used to firmly hold leather pieces together during the gluing or stitching process. They ensure precise alignment and prevent the leather from shifting, allowing for cleaner and more accurate craftsmanship. This tool is especially useful when working on intricate or delicate parts of the leatherwork.

• Edge Groover an edge groover is a specialized leathercraft tool used to carve a narrow groove along the edge of a leather piece. This groove guides stitching lines and helps the stitches sit slightly recessed, protecting them from wear and giving the finished product a clean, professional look.

• Bag Handle Mold(custom-made) a bag handle shaping tool is designed to make the shaping process easier. It features a curved form that matches the natural shape of the handle, allowing craftsmen to mold and shape leather handles smoothly and accurately. This tool ensures consistent, ergonomic handles that fit comfortably and enhance the overall quality of the bag.

• Pricking Irons ใช้สำหรับมาร์คตำแหน่งรูที่มีมุมและระยะห่างเท่ากันก่อนเย็บ เพื่อให้รอยเย็บแม่นยำ

• Awl คมและเรียว ใช้เจาะหนังด้วยมือ หรือขยายรูที่มาร์คไว้

• ค้อนเขาควาย(ทำขึ้นเอง) ค้อนดั้งเดิมทำจากเขาควายแท้ มีความหนาแน่นแต่ยังนุ่มนวล เหมาะสำหรับตอกเหล็กมาร์ครูอย่างแม่นยำและลดแรงดีดกลับ ใช้เคาะเก็บด้ายหลังเย็บให้เรียบและเนียน
